1-5 Tips to Problem Solving…

  1. Mind your Tone of voice! Firm and Kind is the key.
  2. Have children identify the  problem and their feelings
  3. Acknowledge what they say (‘I hear you are feeling angry because your toy is broken’)
  4. Ask each child for ideas and solutions
  5. Talk with the child encouraging them to come up with an answer to their ‘problem’
